We are delighted to welcome Elisa Zamengo to our lab for her first secondment as part of the MSCA Doctoral Programme ReBone!
Elisa is a PhD student based at the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Osteology in Vienna, where her research focuses on bone structure using high-resolution imaging techniques — with a particular interest in how healthy bone changes across different skeletal sites and with ageing.
She is joining us here in Novara for three months, collaborating with the INNOVATION team at the Università del Piemonte Orientale alongside Ranveer Kaur, under the supervision of Prof. Lia Rimondini and Prof. Andrea Cochis.
During her time with us, Elisa will have the opportunity to step beyond her primary research area and deepen her knowledge in cell biology, cell-scaffold interactions, and inflammatory response — and we look forward to learning alongside her too!
Welcome, Elisa — we’re thrilled to have you with us! 🎉🔬
