The UPO (Università del Piemonte Orientale) team hosted the 5th progress meeting of the FORCE REPAIR project on 5-6 June 2025. The project is dedicated to advancing chronic wound management through the development of a smart, multifunctional, and cost-effective 3D-printed wound dressing designed to control bacterial infection and inflammation. This innovative biomaterials-based therapy aims to relieve skin tension and promote tissue regeneration by integrating biocompatible technologies with pro-regenerative active ingredients. The FORCE REPAIR scaffold is expected to enhance healing, improve wound care management, and ultimately reduce healthcare-related costs.

Following a warm welcome from Prof. Lia Rimondini and Prof. Mariagrazia Grilli, the 14 project partners presented and discussed their latest results and achievements. On the first day, a visit to the Basilica of San Gaundenzio was organised as a social activity.
