We are thrilled to announce the arrival of two talented new PhD students, Sofia Toniolo and Tiziana Brosio, who have officially joined our research group!

Advancing Research in Chronic Wound Healing and Myocardial Repair

Both students will dedicate their time to two key initiatives, focusing on developing innovative solutions for pressing medical challenges:

1. The INJECTHEAL Project: An Injectable Solution for Chronic Wounds

A European Horizon Innovation Action coordinated by Prof. Lia Rimondini, which aims to develop a multifunctional injectable hydrogel platform designed for the effective treatment of chronic wounds.

2. The 4D-REVIVE Project: Integrated Patches for Cardiac Repair

A FIS-funded project coordinated by Elham Sharifikolouei, Ph.D., which aims to create an integrated multifunctional cardiac patch for myocardial repair following injury.
